Do I have to publish my videos?
No. You can record, edit, and export without publishing. Keep a video for yourself or choose to share it through another app. Cringe Mountain never posts automatically.

How do I create captions?
Record or import a video up to three minutes long. In Edit → Captions, choose From recording to transcribe your speech, or My script to use your exact wording. Sign in and approve audio processing, then review the words and timing. Open Export to save the finished video.
What’s included in Free?
Record or import, use your teleprompter, edit and export locally for free. Free includes 1 GB cloud storage, 50 AI actions and 30 audio minutes per month, with a small export credit. Chalk & Talk and Full Send have higher limits and clean exports. Saved work stays available when a paid plan or an existing trial ends. See the plans.
Why can’t I find the app in the stores?
The browser studio is available now. The iPhone and Android apps are still in testing; public downloads are not available yet. Download links will appear on the home page when they’re ready.
Which languages can I use?
Choose English, Hebrew, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Chinese or Japanese. Accuracy varies with language, accents, background noise and recording quality. Always review AI-generated captions before sharing.
Transcription isn’t starting.
Check your internet connection, sign-in and remaining AI allowance or Pro access in Account & plans. The first request after the service has been idle may take longer. If app verification fails, use the official testing or store installation rather than a copied app file. Email me if the problem continues.
My video won’t export.
Keep the app open while it processes and make sure your device has enough free storage. Exporting happens on the device, so longer videos may take more time.
What happens to my video and audio?
Videos save locally unless you share them, back up a project, save an export to your gallery or request an AI video review. AI captions send extracted audio for transcription with your permission. The caption server processes audio without storing it; successful Free results can be kept for 24 hours to recover retries, then scheduled for deletion. Provider retention is separate. Read the privacy policy for processing, retention and your controls.

Email cringemountain@dorkalev.com. You don’t need an account to contact me. Deleting app data removes local drafts; exported or shared videos remain wherever you saved them.
