Terms of use

Using the app
Cringe Mountain is a video creation tool for adults aged 18 and over. Use it lawfully and only upload or use content you have permission to process. You keep ownership of your content. Processing permission is limited to providing the features you request.
Local work and AI
Local drafts are stored on your device or browser. Keep backups of important work. Signing in does not create a cloud backup. AI generation requires your separate consent to send the relevant audio, text or video for processing. Results may contain errors; review them before relying on or sharing them. Service interruptions and provider capacity can affect availability.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in account secure and use the same account across devices to access purchases. Only connect sign-in methods you control. Do not misuse another person's account or attempt to bypass payment or service protections.
Purchases, trials and renewals
Only offers actually presented at checkout are available to purchase. Checkout states the price, billing period, included benefits and taxes. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the original billing provider. Cancellation retains access until the paid period ends, subject to refunds or valid revocation.
New free trials are no longer offered. Previously activated trials keep their original end date. They never charge automatically. If a separate store offer includes automatic conversion, its checkout terms must explicitly describe that conversion before you accept it.
New web purchases are processed by Dodo Payments as the merchant of record when Dodo checkout is offered. Earlier purchases remain with the provider named on their receipt. Native purchases use Apple's App Store or Google Play, with their applicable purchase terms. RevenueCat connects purchase status to your app account.
Saved work and existing purchases
Expiry returns an account to its remaining Free monthly AI allowance; it does not remove locally saved work or prevent local editing and export. Changes to available offers do not withdraw previously purchased benefits. Existing purchases keep the benefits and terms accepted at checkout.
Refunds and account deletion
See the refund policy. You can delete your sign-in account through Account & plans, or follow the account deletion instructions. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel store subscriptions. Payment providers may retain legally required transaction records.
Web checkout terms
Dodo purchases are subject to the Dodo Payments buyer terms, the terms shown at checkout and applicable consumer rights. For earlier Paddle purchases, the Paddle buyer terms and refund policy continue to apply. The refund and cancellation page explains how to request help and stop renewals.
Your rights
These terms do not limit rights or remedies that applicable consumer law requires. Material changes to paid terms will be communicated where required. Questions can be sent to the support address above.
